Water/Sewer Contact

To set up or stop water/sewer service, to get information about water/sewer service, or to report water/sewer problems (like leaks, back-ups, odors, discoloration, sinkholes, open manholes, pump or high-level alarms, etc.), contact the District’s water/sewer operator, Hays Utility North Corporation, by phone at (936) 588-1166 or by email to CustomerService@HaysWater.com.  In case of water/sewer emergency, call 936-588-1166 (24 hrs). General office hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM most weekdays. After hours, on weekends, or on holidays, there is an answering service that can alert on-duty personnel of the District’s water/sewer operator.
